OUR HISTORY

After years of working in the staffing industry for some of the largest companies, our founders set out in 2010 to create a staffing firm highly focused on the quality of candidates they work with while matching them with some of the best clients in the market. The goal was to create an environment where everyone, from staff to clients to consultants, would be rewarded for their success and have an honest and high touch approach.

In 2023, Top Prospect Group was acquired by HW Staffing to add technology and professional services to its expanded service offerings. Both organizations share similar philosophies of how to treat people, be true to their word, service clients and take care of their staff while being both a counselor and mentor. The team still holds true to connecting great people with great companies.

HW Staffing Solutions and Top Prospect Group continue to grow, employing hundreds of thousands of people since their inception. The staff still conforms to the core principles on which the company was founded of Dignity, Excellence and Service.

Evelyn Sirena

Managing Director

Evelyn is an original founder of Top Prospect Group since its inception in 2010 and is responsible for building and mentoring top performing sales and recruiting teams. As Managing Director, she continues to provide the strategic direction and implementation of Top Prospect Group’s growth. Evelyn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the dynamic field of talent acquisition with over 25 years in IT Staffing. She is highly skilled at identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, while excelling in creating synergies that drive career and organizational success.

Evelyn’s previous experience as President – IT Consulting Division, Senior VP and Director for additional IT staffing firms is a proven track record of success, utilizing her consultative approach to understand the unique needs of clients and candidates to provide insight and craft tailored workforce solutions.

Evelyn is a graduate of Pace University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She is a Regional Director of the NY Staffing Association.

Vincent Battipaglia

Managing Director

Vinny is one of the original founders of Top Prospect Group beginning in 2010. In his role, he is responsible for the overall growth and strategic direction of the organization. Vinny works with clients, consultants, candidates and staff to create a winning culture.

Vinny has an unprecedented track record of staffing in the Northeast with startup, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies. Over the past 20 years, he has successfully developed and built upon relationships with Senior Level Executives across industry verticals. Vinny’s reputation is second to none, having staffed IT organizations from top to bottom and enterprise wide. He founded the IT Direct-Hire division of a mid-sized staffing firm, and before that, was the top national recruiter at a large national staffing firm. Prior to beginning his career in the staffing industry, Vinny held positions as an IT Project Manager with MCI International and as Senior IT Analyst with AT&T.

Vinny is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.

Stacy Savage

Managing Director

Stacy Savage joined Top Prospect Group in October 2023 as Managing Director of the Professional Services division. In her role, she is responsible for operations spanning the US and Global markets. With a strategic focus on developing the Accounting, Tax & Finance, HR & Operations, Engineering, and Executive Search divisions, Stacy plays a pivotal role in driving business development, recruitment, and brand advancement initiatives within her divisions.

Prior to joining Top Prospect Group, Stacy owned and operated a boutique staffing firm, as an Independent Director of a large multi-national agency. She is credited as one of the first boutique firm expansions for this company in the United States. As an executive leader, she spearheaded initiatives across sales, marketing, recruitment, and operational functions, setting a benchmark for excellence in the industry.

Moreover, Stacy spent nearly a decade in senior management with one of the nation’s largest staffing firms. Stacy has honed her expertise in scaling organizations for sustained success. Her strategic vison and leadership acumen have consistently driven transformative growth and innovation, positioning her as a trusted leader within the staffing and professional services sector.

Ed Walsh, Jr.

Chief Executive Officer

Edward T. Walsh Jr., CEO of HW Staffing Solutions and its affiliates, has been with the company since 1993. As CEO Mr. Walsh leads the company’s corporate vision, strategic direction, and overall profitability. These are things he is well prepared to do, as over the years he has held every position in the company including recruiter, branch manager, payroll specialist, and sales manager. In 2007, Mr. Walsh took over as President when his mother and company founder Helen Walsh retired. At that time, the company was operating 2 branches and had clients in 3 New England States.

Since 2007, Mr. Walsh has driven company growth with his sales, operational, and management leadership. The company now operates in 22 branch locations, with over 70 internal employees, and services clients in 35 states. This expansion under Mr. Walsh has been accomplished with a combination of organic growth and the integration of multiple acquisitions. These strategic acquisitions have expanded the company’s capabilities and positioned HW to service clients from their front desk receptionist or warehouse worker to the IT manager or C-suite executive.

Under Mr. Walsh the company has made significant improvements and investments in their IT and phone systems, undergone two ATS system implementations, and streamlined the now paperless on-boarding process. Today as CEO, he continues to lead the HW Family of businesses which now helps companies with staffing needs in a wide range of sectors including light industrial, information technology, professional services, and hospitality.

Nicole Horan

President, HW Staffing

Nicole joined HW Staffing in 2014 through an acquisition. Nicole, now President of HW Staffing, oversees all operations for HW Staffing and adds her expertise in training and developing teams as well as helping to grow and nurture new customers. She is responsible for driving the synergy between all divisions of the HW Staffing family of companies and guides the overall strategic direction of the firm.

Nicole began her staffing career in 2002, joining the management of a small staffing firm in New Hampshire. She was responsible for driving sales and adding her insights to the management team. She grew in her role to serve as the Director of Business Operations working across all areas of the business. The company was acquired by HW Staffing where she assisted in growing the firm to its stature of today.

Additionally, Nicole serves on the Nashua Chamber’s legislative committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern New England Association of Personnel Services as the legislative committee chair. She is a proud graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo.
